It's been an eventful couple of days around here. On Tuesday, Finn cut his first tooth! He is a bit of a late bloomer compared to most the babes in his friend pool, but it's exciting that he is getting some chompers! He is definitely bothered by the pain of moving teeth- not sleeping well, fussy and not at all his normal happy self. All to be expected, I suppose. All this commotion has got Jeff and I talking about what special things we will do when he one day starts losing these baby teeth. It seems so odd to me that we give kids money from the tooth fairy for their teeth- so Jeff has come up with the idea of giving him special rocks that we find on walks or adventures, or little crystals and jewels with special stories behind them. I really like the idea, but 6 or 7 years from now when all his friends are getting 20 dollar bills (I'm accounting for inflation :) ) it might be another story. Only time will tell, but for now, I'm just going to enjoy the extra cuddles from my poor little man.
