melted crayon eggs

i came across this easter egg diy on pinterest and was eager to give it a try with finn. its a pretty simple concept - grate a few crayons, hard boil a few eggs, and then while the eggs are still hot, sprinkle them with the crayon shavings and watch the colours melt into each other. the only thing i would have done differently the next time around is to use fewer colours. one of the first lessons you learn in your colouring years is mixing too many colours together always results in yucky brown guck. a lesson i apparently forgot. :)
