my bestest friend was here this past week (with her amazing mom and sweet baby myles who is getting way too big too fast.) its hard to miss someone so deeply, only to have them visit and realize you miss them so much more than you thought you did. my heart aches being away from steph, but having her here and being able to cuddle that little dumpling baby of hers was exactly what my gloomy winter heart needed.
now if only i could keep them here forever.
we took a little day trip over to bowen island- with two kids in tow, it was a hilarious, sometimes hectic and whirlwinded trip, but it really was an incredible day. sunny, beautiful, perfectly warm and the best company i could have asked for. i love you, steph.
